The player is the weakest animal because you can't fight back. You get one shot, so make sure to  produce enough carrots.

Gameplay tips:

  • Excess carrots carry over rounds!
  • Shield guards have 2 health, sword guards have 3.
  • Scarecrows are purely cosmetic.  :(
  • Double your carrots by planting them!

Controls

  • WSAD to move.
  • E to interact.
  • Buttons are clickable.

This is a slightly late submission!!! :(

In the final hour the game wouldn't stop crashing due to 

  • Animation Player root issues. (weird)
  • Objects freed from memory
  • Guards interacting with carrots in ways that shouldn't be possible
  • Guard killing fox while you are dying
  • Scenes not reloading properly (Tree was paused)
  • Improperly applied transforms (Visual bug)
  • data.tree being null. 

I'm not the best composer, Sorry if the music is bad!  :(

Almost everything was made solely for this jam, only assets used were:
